As Barrie’s newest, premier doggie daycare, Barkaritaville focuses on enriching the mind, body, and social soul of your dog through physical play, mental enrichment activities, and integration within their larger dog pack.

We have 4,200 square feet of climate controlled inside space with access to outside grassy areas, allowing us to ensure our Barkaritaville islanders can play and rest comfortably during their oasis island getaway.

Our enrichment activities help improve the quality of life of your dog, and by the end of their stay, leaves them physically, mentally, and emotionally satisfied.

To ensure our dogs receive the best experience possible we have divided them up into three rooms with each dog being welcomed as a Barkaritaville islander and placed to have the best getaway experience possible. Each room has an opportunity to enjoy time in the sun (outdoors) and time in the shade (indoors):

*Please note that all dogs must be fully vaccinated (approx. 16 weeks) and dogs over the age of 6 months must be spayed/neutered to attend daycare*

The big dog oasis is all about fun in the sun, and in the shade, allowing islanders to enjoy a change of scenery during their getaway. This means enriching activities, new friends, and bottomless game time.

Little dogs can enjoy their own sun and shade oasis while meeting new islander friends, learning new skills, and playing games that are just their size.  

This oasis area is for those who enjoy a slower paced getaway, relaxing in the sun getting a tan or finding a shady spot to take a sweet well deserved nap. Senior islanders receive all the love we have to offer.
