Charlie, our Chief Play Officer, keeps things moving! She's a Barkaritaville glass half-full type of girl and LOVES everything and everyone she meets! She will definitely keep the luau going and the other islanders on their toes.
Lulu, our Chief Security Officer, might be the new kid on the block but she's found her place in the pack and takes her role very seriously! You'll find Lulu sitting in her favourite spot surveying the activities or on patrol in the yard checking for squirrels and chipmunks.
Georgie, our new Intern, is the new addition to the Barkaritaville team. Georgie is figuring out her place in the pack and working on learning the ropes. Georgie enjoys spending her days lazing on the beach and soaking up the sun.
Bailey, our Chief Executive Dawg, is the inspiration for Barkaritaville. The one who started it all! As our senior resident and pack leader, you could catch Bailey chillin' in the Tiki Hut taking a snooze or overseeing the other islanders. Bailey passed away in 2022 and was loved dearly and will be missed.
Harper, our Chief Affection Officer, was all about the pets! As a 90lb lap dog she'd share your lounge chair if you let her and never missed an opportunity to share the love be it with human or canine alike. She was always ready to relax in the sun or be the life of the luau. Harper passed away in 2023 and was loved beyond measure, we know she is running in the surf with big sister Bailey.
Barkaritaville is a local, family owned business that was born from a true love of pets. Being lifelong residents of Barrie, we are invested in our community. We are small business owners who identified a need to support our pet’s physical, mental and social development in a structured environment. Barkaritaville was started out of this need to fill that developmental gap through focusing on enrichment, development of social skills, physical activity, and wellness. We look forward to sharing this oasis island getaway journey with our community members, both human and canine.
